Frank's Story
If you are looking for proof of the power of a prosthesis that’s purpose-built for you, you don’t have to look much further than Frank. Since the amputation of his right leg below the knee in late 2014, Frank has shown an incredible level of determination and grit to not only get “back on his feet” but to push his body to whole new limits as a Powerlifter and regular competitor in Strongman competitions. Frank has been working with Anton over the last three years to develop and continually refine his prostheses to enable him to pursue his passion for weightlifting.
Strength and stability, flexibility and functionality, are the core design elements of the socket – allowing him to focus on the execution of the exercise knowing the prosthesis will be up to the task. The things that count when you’re powerlifting 150kg!
“As an active person all my life, being involved in an accident which resulted in the loss of my lower right leg in 2014 was a major life change. Thankfully, with the help of Anton and his team I have been able to make adjustments to my life with some amazing prosthetic legs over the years which have allowed me to compete in Powerlifting as well as Strongman Competitions around the world. Having Anton listen and understand my requirements in a leg I believe has allowed me to enjoy a quality of life I did not think possible.”
B's Story
If you are looking for proof of how purpose-built prostheses can help children participate in the activities they love, you don’t have to look much further than B. Following a traumatic transradial amputation at just three years old, B has shown incredible resilience as he has grown and developed. Now six years old, B continues to explore new activities and make the most of every opportunity to be active and independent.
B uses a body-powered hook and harness for everyday activities, providing him with a practical and reliable prosthetic solution. To support his passion for cycling and fishing, we also designed and manufactured a pin-lock bicycle arm and a dedicated fishing rod arm, each tailored specifically to the demands of the activity.
Functionality, durability and individuality are at the core of B’s prosthetic solutions – allowing him to ride, fish, play and participate with confidence. For B, prosthetics aren’t just about replacing what was lost; they’re about creating opportunities to do the things he loves.
“Seeing B enjoy activities like riding his bike and going fishing has been amazing. The team took the time to understand what B wanted to do and created prostheses specifically around his interests. The bicycle arm and fishing rod arm have given him the confidence to get involved and have fun with his friends. It’s fantastic to see his prosthesis helping him do the things he loves.”
Helmet Success's Story
At just 4.5 months old, this little one was fitted with a Talee cranial helmet to help manage severe plagiocephaly. Early intervention was an important part of the treatment plan, taking advantage of this early stage of growth and development.
The Talee helmet was custom-designed to gently guide head growth while allowing plenty of room for natural development. Comfort, fit and ease of use were key considerations, ensuring the helmet could be worn consistently throughout the treatment journey.
With early assessment, careful fitting and ongoing adjustments as baby grows, the goal is to support a more symmetrical head shape while keeping baby comfortable and happy along the way.

Mark's Story
Mark came to us for his first definitive prostheses, looking for everyday limbs that would provide him with the comfort, stability and confidence needed to get back to living life more independently. He also wanted a waterproof prosthesis that would allow him to confidently manage activities around water without having to compromise his mobility.
Working closely with Mark, we focused on developing prostheses tailored to his individual needs, lifestyle and goals. The aim was to provide reliable, comfortable and functional limbs that could support him throughout his day and give him greater freedom to get on with life.

Dean's Story
For Dean, getting his first definitive prostheses has been about more than everyday mobility — it’s about getting back to the sport he loves. Recently fitted with both everyday and waterproof prostheses, Dean now has the freedom and confidence to take on daily life while preparing to return to competitive darts.
His prostheses have been designed with comfort, stability and reliability in mind, giving Dean the confidence to focus on his balance, technique and precision when he steps up to the oche.
With his new limbs fitted and ready for action, Dean can look forward to getting back to competition and doing what he enjoys most — throwing darts and competing at his best.

The Future of Paediatric AFO's Story
As practitioners, we are always looking for ways to make orthoses lighter, more comfortable and better suited to each child. Advances in 3D printing are changing the way we approach paediatric AFO design, allowing us to create highly customised devices with greater control over shape, thickness and stiffness.
Digital scanning and CAD design allow us to fine-tune an AFO around a child’s individual anatomy and functional needs, while creating a streamlined and lightweight result.
For growing children, the ability to digitally modify and reproduce designs is a significant advantage. As their needs change, their orthosis can evolve with them.
For us as practitioners, 3D printing is another tool that allows us to combine clinical expertise with modern technology to create more personalised, functional and child-friendly AFOs.
