CAM Boots (Moon Boots)
A CAM Boot (Controlled Ankle Movement), commonly known as a Moon Boot, is a specialised walking boot designed to protect and support the foot and ankle while allowing controlled mobility during the healing process.
CAM Boots are commonly used for certain fractures, soft tissue injuries and post-operative conditions. They can provide an alternative to a traditional cast in appropriate circumstances and may be removed for hygiene and rehabilitation exercises when recommended by your treating clinician.
CAM Boots may be used for:
